Artist Adventures: Finding Nature Indoors

Stop by the Museum’s front desk for a gallery exploration kit, including a pair of DIY paper binoculars to decorate, a Kraft notebook, and colored pencils, perfect for observing nature and animals in our paintings. A family-friendly gallery guide will be provided, including a scavenger hunt to discover specific details throughout the galleries.

This program is offered by The Icon Museum and Study Center as part of the Hidden Treasures Festival of Nature, Culture & History, an annual month-long celebration showcasing events and activities hosted by local partners celebrating the unique places, objects, and stories of the Freedom’s Way National Heritage Area. Hidden Treasures programs are free and open to the public.
